Herd Immunity
The health of a society is judged upon how well they take care of their sick and elderly. This body of work titled "Herd Immunity" speaks to systemic health. In the making of this body of work, the feldspathic inclusions get discarded into my reclaim bin of clay, only to “spread” uncontrolled. This literal contamination is symbolic, not just of disease, but of a spiritual or ideological vulnerability.
